8th OctoberToday we had our first day of filming. We collected the instruments and chose a location on the field where the light would be ok as it was a sunny day and we realised that shadows on the face would be an issue. We assembled the band and did a test run of the whole song on a long shot of the band. This helped us to pick up on one of the guitarists lack of movement so we replaced him with our spare band member who suited the band better.
After an hour of shooting we mangaged to run through the song several times to make sure we had plenty of footage and then did the individual close ups of the band.
Over all i think it went really well and we covered ourselves well by getting at least 3 of each individual shot in case anything was wrong. Im really pleased by the amount of footage we got and how well it all turned out.
